OVERVIEW OF THE SURFACE BULKING MACHINE
SCREW PRINTING MACHINE
The multi-disc screw slurry press developed by KS Boler uses the principle of dewatering by water pressure in the same direction, dewatering the thin layer, accurately compressing and expanding the dewatering path. The media slurry separator is easy to jam, not suitable for liquid and viscous slurry, large consumption and difficult to operate. This new generation of machines has eliminated the above problems and operates with high efficiency and energy saving.
The multi-disc screw slurry press is controlled by an electrical cabinet, allowing continuous automatic operation of the following processes: sludge precipitation, concentration, water separation and output filtration.
KS Boiler is the industry pioneer of multi-disc screw slurry press , with the strongest R&D (research and development) capabilities, the widest range of applications, the highest capacity products, with the best production line and the highest recognition from professional customers.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The conditioned sludge flows into the filter chamber from the sludge flocculation chamber and is pressed to the outlet end. With the gap between the screw and the screw groove getting narrower and narrower, the pressure on the mud will increase. Thus the water will be separated from the sludge and flow out from the gap between the moving rings and the fixed rings. The movement of the rings clears the gap between them and prevents jamming. The sludge after being pressed by the shaft and discharged.
APPLICATION OF MACHINE IN THE PACKING INDUSTRY
Large commercial bakeries that produce products including cakes, pies, cookies, macaroons, cakes and many other desserts generate wastewater with loads of contaminants too high to be discharged. city without prior processing. Bakeries use large quantities of butter, flour, eggs, and various fillers that produce moderate levels of pollution in wastewater.
The table below shows the levels of BOD, suspended solids and fats and oils in wastewater.
COD | Board of Directors | TSS | TP | TKN | FOG |
7000 | 3200 | 6000 | 6.8 | 36 | 820 |
Notes: COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand), BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand), TSS (Total Suspended Solids), TP (Total Phosphates), TKN (Total Nitrogen)
PERFORMANCE AND NEEDED BIOLOGY RATE
Wastewater from a bakery needs to be treated before it is discharged into the city’s sewer system. A very efficient way to do this is through the operation of a dissolved air (DAF) flotation system. These systems are the ultimate solution for removing materials such as solids, oils and grease (FOG). The DAF system uses a separation technique that pumps small bubbles in the DAF tank, which adhere to insoluble contaminated materials and float to the surface. Certain materials used in the baking process are heavier than water and therefore require the addition of flocculants and air, which, when combined, cause the contaminants to bind together and force to rise to the surface. . These pollutants accumulate at the surface of the DAF called “Sludge”, and then using a screw press In order to dewater the sludge, the sludge after being dewatered will have less odor and no longer pollute the environment.
Using a DAF system in a commercial bakery will allow for reductions in FOG by up to 99% and total suspended solids (TSS) by up to 97%. The coagulant requirement as well as the adjustment of the pH of the water for effective FOG removal can be fully automated with the Ecologix VLT Series dissolved air flotation system.
