External technical inspection includes checking the following items:
– Floor plan, installation location.
– Operational lighting system.
– Working floors, stairs, hangers.
– Electrical safety grounding system, lightning protection (if any).
– Check the specifications on the boiler’s label against the profile.
– Check the condition of safety, measuring and auxiliary equipment in terms of quantity, type, technical parameters compared with the design and prescribed standards.
– Types of valves installed on the boiler in terms of quantity, type, technical parameters compared with the design and prescribed standards.
– Check the status of other ancillary equipment attached to serve the working process of the boiler.
– Check the condition of welds, metal surfaces of pressure-sensitive parts of the boiler. When in doubt, ask the establishment to apply appropriate additional testing measures for a more accurate assessment.
– Condition of the insulation layer.
– Check the pairing details.
Evaluate satisfactory results when:
+ Meet the regulations under Section 8 of TCVN 7704:2007;
+ Meet the regulations under Section 5 of TCVN 7704:2007;
+ There are no cracks, bulges, dents, deformations, excessive corrosion in the pressure parts and in the welds and joints outside the boiler.
Technical check inside:
– Check the condition of scale, rust, corrosion on the inner metal of the boiler.
– Check the condition of welds, metal surfaces of pressure-sensitive parts of the boiler. When in doubt, ask the establishment to apply appropriate additional testing measures for a more accurate assessment.
– For locations where it is not possible to conduct internal inspection during inspection, the inspection of technical condition must be carried out according to the manufacturer’s technical documents. The document must clearly state: items, methods method and test sequence.
– When it is not possible to inspect the inside due to the structural characteristics of the boiler, it is permissible to replace the internal inspection with a hydraulic test at the specified test pressure and inspection of the parts that can be inspected.
– When in doubt about the technical condition of the boiler’s pressure-sensitive parts, users need to remove part or all of the insulation, remove some fire pipes or cut some water pipes to check. .
– When detecting defects that reduce the strength of the pressure wall (thinning walls, worn joints), it is necessary to reduce the working parameters of the boiler. The parameter reduction must be based on the recalculation of the strength according to the actual data.
Evaluation of results: The results are satisfactory when:
+ Meet the regulations under Section 5 of TCVN 7704:2007.
+ There are no cracks, bulges, dents, deformations, excessive corrosion in the pressure parts and in the welds and joints inside the equipment.
Technical inspection, testing:
– Boilers are exempted from durability test upon initial inspection if the factory test period is not more than 24 months, well preserved, during transportation and installation there is no sign of impact or deformation. The inspection record must clearly state the reason and be attached to the factory hydraulic test minutes of the manufacturer, the minutes of acceptance and installation.
– When testing, there must be isolation measures to ensure that automatic protective devices, measuring devices are not destroyed at the test pressure. In case of failure, these devices must be removed.
– Durability test:
+ The time limit for boiler endurance test shall not exceed once every 6 years, in case of abnormal testing according to section 11.2.5: TCVN7704:2007, the durability test must be conducted with the following requirements:
The test medium is water. Test medium temperature below 50°C and not lower than ambient temperature more than 5°C
+ Test pressure, time to maintain test pressure.
Check operation.
– Check the conditions to be able to put the boiler into operation.
– Check the working condition of the boiler and its attached accessories; time limit for testing, calibration and working of measuring and protective equipment.
– When the boiler is working stably, raise the pressure to check and adjust the working pressure of the safety valve and seal the safety valve.
– The set pressure of the safety valve does not exceed 1.1 times the maximum allowable working pressure of the boiler.
– Evaluation of results: The results are satisfactory when the boiler, auxiliary equipment and protective measuring devices work normally, the working parameters are stable.
