The concept of multi-fuel boiler:
What is multi-fuel boiler? What is a multi-fuel boiler? This is a question that many people ask and it is the current search trend. Currently, choosing boilers, boilers according to technology or burning materials to help optimize costs is the most difficult question for businesses. Currently, the cost of raw materials is not stable at all. From coal fired boiler to DO, FO, FO-R oil, to firewood, chip chips, sawdust, wood pellets, firewood, sawdust pressed firewood, shavings, wood pulp, wood chips, coal crumbs, coal chips.. in general and a variety of other fuels with very volatile prices.
Structure of multi-fuel boiler:
The multi-fuel boiler is designed in the form of a natural circulating water tube furnace with 2 horizontal ballasts. The upper ball and the lower ball are connected by a convection tube beam.
The manifolds are arranged around the combustion chamber and linked to the ballast by a series of radiation pipes, down pipes and steam pipes.
Fuel is burned in the combustion chamber by the chain grate system (with coal burning mode), and the residue throats (in bagasse burning mode).
The heat released in the combustion chamber is transferred by radiation to the line tubes of the combustion chamber.
Next, the combustion product stream passes through the feston pipes (arranged in the upper part of the combustion chamber) into the combustion chamber. Here, the unburnt fuel (if any) is burned out and the combustion products transfer heat mainly by convection to the feston tubes and the walls of the combustion chamber. Then the smoke enters the convection tube beam from below in a zigzag path predetermined by the channeling plates, performs convective heat exchange for the tube beam, and enters the air dryer through a smoke channel. arranged in the upper part of the convection tube beam.
Hot smoke moves in the tubes of the air dryer and continues to transfer heat to dry the amount of air that will be introduced into the undercarriage. The smoke is led through the deduster (constructed in the form of a cyclone) and is taken out by the exhaust fan through the chimney.
In addition to burning coal and burning bagasse alone, multi-fuel boilers also allow the combination of these two fuels at the same time. In this mode, the layer of coal will be burned first to burn stably on the log before starting to put bagasse in. Even when the residue has not been fed into the furnace, the high-pressure blower under the pulp throat still provides cold air to cool and protect the pulp throat, and at the same time participates in agitation of the combustion product stream when burning coal. When the combustion chamber temperature is stable, the residue will ignite well in the combustion chamber, while the coal will continue to burn on the log, a part of the residue will fall and burn right on the surface of the red coal. Especially for this burning mode, it is possible to burn both wet residue (due to rain) and rotten residue (due to long-term storage).
Advantages of multi-fuel boilers:
Compared with FO oil combustion, multi-fuel boilers (LTB 15/10) reduce costs by 50% when burning with coal; 80-85% when burned with bagasse. Moreover, a boiler with a capacity of 15 tons/hour will play the role of producing steam for the entire processing industry cluster including production lines. The solution can also be developed to apply to wood processing factories, plywood factories that have waste sources from wood such as shavings, sawdust, wood chips… or agricultural processing factories where available sources of rice husks, straw, rice straw…
In addition to multi-fuel boiler products, you can also choose to use gas-fired boilers, oil-fired boilers, coal-fired boilers, and firewood in industrial production processes.
